I'm a birth doula in Buffalo, NY, serving Erie & Niagara County, and I'm also a mom of two. I've been on the table, I've been in the middle of the night wondering if this was really it, and I've done the recovery. That lived experience is why I do this work: I advocate for moms because I've been there.

I'll say the quiet part out loud: this isn't Elle Woods girl-power, and it isn't Little House on the Prairie either. It's somewhere in the middle - steadfast and strong, prepared, and honestly a little bit fun to have around when things are hard.

I show up with what my clients call the Mary-Poppins bag: rebozo, massage tools, snacks, chargers, position ideas, and a very calm face. Then I stay put.
