Buffalo birth doula
A birth doula for Buffalo families
I'm Julia, a DONA International trained birth doula based in Buffalo. I support families across Erie and Niagara County through pregnancy prep, labor, delivery, and that first postpartum check-in. Think steady presence, practical comfort, and someone in your corner who isn't going anywhere.
How I help
Before labor
Two prenatal visits to talk through your birth preferences, comfort measures, and how you want your partner involved.
During labor
Continuous presence for labor and delivery, starting virtually and moving to in person when you want me there.
Right after birth
Initial lactation support so feeding gets off to a calmer start.
After you're home
A postpartum follow-up visit to talk through your birth and how you're doing.

Common questions
What areas do you serve?
Buffalo and greater Erie and Niagara County, including the surrounding Western New York suburbs.
How much does a birth doula cost in Buffalo?
My Birth Doula Package is one flat $1,000. That covers two prenatal visits, continuous labor and delivery support, initial lactation support, and a postpartum follow-up visit.
Is a doula a medical provider?
No. Doula support is non-medical. I work alongside your OB, midwife, and nurses, not instead of them.
When should I reach out?
As soon as you know you want support. Availability is limited by due date, so earlier is easier, but it's never too late to ask.
Doula support is non-medical. I don't diagnose, prescribe, or replace your medical team. I help you feel prepared, comfortable, and heard.
